I think we can all agree that there’s a lot of things to be protesting and educating ourselves on right now, and that drastic changes need to happen. Among issues in this category is climate change – something that virtually effects everything living thing on this planet. Funeral Lakes from Toronto decided to use their musical voice in their latest Golden Season EP to share the importance of climate change and taking it seriously. The duo utilizes a familiar folk-infused indie rock which instantly captures a feeling of unity and hope. As for lyrics, we are not shied away from unambiguous references to the band’s fears and frustrations surrounding the matter.
